Privacy Policy
What's In My Tap is an editorial site about water quality, filtration, and product research. We collect a limited amount of information needed to operate the site, measure usage, and process newsletter signups that you submit voluntarily.
If analytics are enabled, they may collect basic usage data such as page views, browser or device information, referral data, and approximate location derived from IP address. We use that information to understand which guides and tools are useful, not to build or sell personal profiles.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process the email address you submit along with limited operational metadata needed to deliver or store the request. We may also measure affiliate link clicks and similar on-site interactions in aggregate so we can see which content is actually helping readers.
We may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, session integrity, spam prevention, and basic site performance. If a third party service is connected, that provider may process data under its own privacy terms.
You can avoid optional form submissions by not subscribing and you can limit analytics or cookie collection through your browser or device settings. If you need a correction or deletion request for a newsletter signup already submitted through the site, use the contact channel provided in the relevant email workflow.
